More From Luxembourg

Luxembourg is officially known as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is located in the hilly part of the French, German, and Belge borders. As one may guess from the location, the country has been fought over and resettled several times in its history. This history is evident by the large fortifications on which the center of capital city, Luxembourg, is still built upon. Today the country is governed by a Grand Duke and has several common languages, most commonly German and French.

When we visited in December, the town had just been covered with several inches of clean, white snow. This made for some wonderful snowball fights as well as beautiful scenery. Here's some more pictures from our visit.
