Not all of our trip was about history.  A good example was the Grand Aquarium in the town of St. Malo.

This is a kid's aquarium.  Large tanks with colorful fish and colorful settings.  An 'undersea' excursion to see the sea bottom.  A 3D movie of a coral reef.  Petting ponds with friendly sea rays.  Climbing tubes and photo booths.  It had it all.

We parents were impressed with the breadth of the collection, the size of the tanks, and the condition of the fish.  They all looked happy, healthy, and in good health.

If you are ever in the north of France, do not miss this place!
