Welcome to my little corner of the
web. I asked myself what could I possibly post here that someone
would actually want to read. You see, yes, I do live in France
but after you get past the idea of it sounding romantic or exotic,
the bottom line is that life really is pretty much the same day
in, day out. I take the kids to school, volunteer at the school
and church, take a few classes for me, buy groceries, do laundry,
and all those other normal things that you all do. Ive learned
how to function just fine within the normal routine but it does
get exciting when the unexpected occurs. Things like a trip to
the hospital, car troubles, or shopping for big ticket items seem
to grow larger than life when youre just not quite sure
you understand the "fine print".
So, heres what Ive come up with to share, and
remember all the vacation stuff is elsewhere on the site. (If
I missed something obvious that youre curious about, e-mail
me and I can add it. Sometimes things arent so obvious when
youre sitting on top of them!)

Recipes
These are some of the ones that Ive learned to cook here
in France and I think youll be able to try these with ingredients
available in the States. If you want to ask about any of the more
exotic recipes, just e-mail
me. Im learning some really neat things to make. (Like
yes, I can make escargots at home, and yes, the kids love them!)
